That’s right, folks. All you mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, friends, spouses and children who have loved ones in the wars, you don’t know what it is like to sacrifice for your country. That is, unless, you are a McCain. So says Megan McCain, at least.
In an interview with Meredith Viera, Ms. McCain stated that “no one knows war other than my family.” Now, what she might have meant is “no one knows war like my family.” But that isn’t what she said, and even that would not be accurate. We all know war. We are all sacrificing. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t know someone involved in the war somehow.
Well, Ms. McCain, you will forgive us if we disagree with you.
