I know that you might think I am a right wing hating liberal hippie, but I am not. For a long time I was adamant that, if McCain won, I wouldn’t be so upset. Sure, I wasn’t voting for him but I didn’t think he would make that bad of a President. Lately, however, I have to question his judgment. Namely, on the Palin issue. What was he thinking?

Palin recently did an interview with Charlie Gibson. During this interview she could not have made it more obvious that she was underqualified if she held a sign and screamed “don’t vote for me! I don’t know what I’m doing!” It would have been funny (or sad) if it weren’t so scary. This is a woman who would be, literally, a heartbeat away from the most important position in the free world, and she doesn’t eve know what the Bus Doctrine is? Really? Mind you, until I looked it up right now, I didn’t know what it was. But, then again I am not running for Vice President of these United States. And please don’t even argue that she knew what it was. Watch the video below and tell me she understands:

It is actually rather painful to watch. I can just see Rick Davis, John McCain’s campaign manager, rocking back and forth slowly in a dark room, wondering where he went wrong. This, sadly, wasn’t even the worst of this interview.

Palin also seemed to contradict McCain’s standing on Pakistan when she suggested America has the right to perform cross border raids against Pakistan’s will.

Later, Palin also suggested, in a massive screw up in basic diplomacy, that we go to war with Russia. When discussing NATO and whether or not Georgia should be included, it was pointed out that, if Georgia was in, under the NATO treaties we would be required to go to war with Russia. Rather than taking the smart road and refusing to discuss such hypothetical situations, Palin encouraged the idea. Nice. I can hear the panic in Moscow already.

This woman is not ready to lead. She is barely ready to lead Alaska. She is uninformed, she is far too radical and she is out of her mind if she thinks that we will vote for her just because of what she has between her legs. She is wrong for me and she is wrong for America. And frankly, I am sick and tired of all this political crap. She tries to pull off like she is so smart and so ready but she isn’t! Drop her, McCain, and pick someone new.

If you only watched the interview (which of course, most people do), then I can understand where you're coming from.

    But…..

Read what they edited out, and she sounds much more salient.

    The more you know!

Oh, and by the way, I'm not voting for McCain either.

Thanks for reading. I read it all…she still sounded like someone I would never vote for. I like to think of myself as informed, and so I tend to not rely on what they show only…I know editing can be fierce!

Again, thanks for reading and please feel free to post a comment again anytime. BTW…love your blog!
