We need to straighten this country out before it's too late. I like Nate's suggestion, IF, we get rid of political parties. I do not think that will happen, however. The parties in place now have too much entrenched power. They aren't going to give that up without a fight. I think it will take a good amount of sacrifice from the people of this country. It will also take a leader who is brave enough to implement this bold new plan. Someone who will, maybe, be brave enough to tell us these unpopular things - not cheerleaders we have been given for so long. Lastly, we, the people, need to demand that this shit is fixed ! All they do is profile Americans, and take away from the issues. George Washington STRONGLY advised against political parties. Perhaps we should listen to him.
