The Pope’s personal Preacher actually compared the sex abuse scandal accusations against Pope Johnny Ratzinger to antisemitism.

Really? You think it is appropriate to mention antisemitism in the same conversation as the Pope? The same Pope that was apart of Hitler’s Youth and has still refused to truly apologize for his actions?

Really?

On top of which, it does not even make any sense! Joe’s personal Preacher likened the accusations to “the more shameful aspects of antisemitism.” Let’s see..what was the most shameful act of antisemitism in the history of ever?

I’m going to go ahead and say it was Hitler, his army, and his Youth Corp. And do you know, Mr. Preacher, who was a part of Hitler’s Youth Corp? You might just know him personally. I’ll give you one hint.

To be fair, the Vatican did distance itself from the statements – it tends to like to hide from issues rather than address the underlying concern. That is, actually, why we are here in the first place, isn’t it though?

The preacher alleges that he was quoting from a letter that was written by an “unidentified Jewish friend.” I wonder if that is anything like the “unidentified black men” who were looting during Katrina allowing for the introduction of martial law or the “unidentified Arabs” who shot at the CIA causing them to kill innocent men and women?
